Healing Card by Martha Tuttle The "Birth of Christ," a black and white etching by Martha B. Tuttle, has been printed on 4" x 6" greeting cards with the inside inscription, "Healing Hope Today as Yesterday." These cards are offered in a 5 card package for $15.00 plus $5.00 for mailing. They are most suitable for framing and represent one of 11 etchings donated to the foundation. A native Cincinnatian, Martha's great-great-grandfather built the Betts House in the Betts-Longworth District. She was instrumental on restoring it to its place as a museum in this historic part of Cincinnati. Through six decades, Martha attended classes and supported the Art Academy of Cincinnati with the study of different mediums. She is a founding member of the Crit group of women artists in Cincinnati. As an accomplished and recognized artist, she was inspired to create spiritual enamels as icons depicting healing figures of 2000 years ago. She was led to design etchings as she was experiencing healing from the loss of a son, breast cancer, and later multiple bi-pass heart surgeries. Having attended healing services for years, led by the late Rev. Emily Gardiner Neal, she was grateful for the work of the Healing Ministry Foundation and was inspired to donate eleven of her etchings plus one etching to the Very Rev James A. Diamond, Dean of Christ Church Cathedral for his dedication to the healing ministry and reconciliation work with Cross of Nails. The foundation is blessed to be able to offer this depiction of the beginning of Christ's healing ministry, available to us all today as well as 2000 years ago.
